Interesting ... can you post some screenshots ?

I have had a similar need ever since I was a medical student, which was when I started using "Physik's Lists" on the PalmPilot. However, I have really struggled to find something suitable to carry this data on my iPhone. I have tried Evernote, SyncBook, SecretBook, StoreIt, Notebook, Tap Forms and FMTouch, but I have now settled on Bento even though it's not quite as neat as what I was using on the Palm.

I take notes in Evernote while reading journal articles. I also tag the notes with one of Dentistry's 13-or-so sub-disciplines. A quick search for TMD shows me all of the little comments, from diagnostic to treatment, for the subject.

I have created a public notebook I can refer my patients to (I'm a family doc) - it contains simple things like shoulder and knee strengthening exercises, frequently used questionnaires like the Beck's score and the Snap IV rating for parents. I have some exercises for vertigo, simple advice on management of URTIs and infectious diarrhea, a sheet of common migraine triggers and sleep hygiene advice. I would often find myself scrabbling round my office looking for handouts to give my patients. Now I email them a link, my office is less cluttered & I'm saving on paper & photocopying costs.

Certainly alot can be done with image capture. I would be concerned that my image would be buried among a boat load of vacation shots. But what's most important when it comes to personal organization is an easy, reliable system that works for you.

For me EN serves as a repository for all my 'stuff'.

Number 8 could be much easier to do without evernote.

1. Have your home button assigned to your camera.

2. Push it twice, take picture of location.

3. When you need it, look at last picture taken.

(also, using something like simplenote is far more convenient in this case than evernote)

Evernote is great for some things. Other things not so much. This is a case of going the complicated route simply to say you're using evernote.

Number 8 is a great idea. I snapped a photo of the intersection I parked at for the Packers season opener. Post game it was a handy reference to find my car quickly.
