Visibility Creates Opportunity for Physicians Online

December 4, 2018 By Bryan Vartabedian · Reading Time: < 1 minutes

visibility creates opportunityI spend a lot of time talking to doctors about their public presence. That’s everything that happens beyond the IRL space. Social media, internet, risk and opportunity.

One of the biggest challenges for me is showing value. If you are charged with helping doctors improve their online presence, you need to help them understand what’s in it for them. Why should they take the time to create a short video or bit of writing that people can see?

Simple: Visibility creates opportunity.

When people see you think, they want to talk to you. When people talk to you things happen.

My server doesn’t have the room to tell you the number of times that the simple visibility of the ideas presented here on this blog lead to discussions and opportunities.

The visibility – opportunity arc doesn’t happen overnight. You have to show up and make something worth talking about. Your stuff has to resonate with someone. And people have to know that you’ve got something out there.

Build it so they can see it. Then they will come.

If you liked Visibility Creates Opportunity you’ll probably like the 33charts FreerangeMD Archives. These posts cover the things that happen when a doctor uses his/her public voice.
